LinkHunter Form Filler — Privacy Policy
What the extension does
LinkHunter Form Filler fills web forms — for example directory, citation and profile submission forms — with business details you save in the extension. It runs on a page only when you click the extension, press its keyboard shortcut or choose it from the right-click menu.
Data you save
- Profiles (business name, contact details, descriptions, social links and any custom fields you add), settings, learned fields (which field on a site you chose to fill with which value), saved logins the extension generated while you signed up on a site, and your submission log.
- All of this is stored only in your browser, using Chrome’s local extension storage. It is not synced, uploaded or shared. Uninstalling the extension deletes it; you can export a backup file yourself at any time.
Data we collect
None. The extension has no server, no account and no analytics. It does not send your profiles, the pages you fill or your browsing history anywhere — not to LinkHunter and not to anyone else.
What the extension never does
- It never solves, skips or bypasses CAPTCHAs — it highlights them for you to solve.
- It never submits a form — you review it and press the site’s own submit button.
- It never fills hidden “honeypot” fields that sites use to detect bots.
Permissions
- activeTab / scripting: to read and fill the form on the page you chose, only after your action.
- storage: to keep your profiles, settings, saved logins and log on your device.
- contextMenus: for the right-click “Fill with…” menu.
