Is LinkHunter Snap free?
Yes. Capturing, editing, recording, copying and downloading are free with no account and no watermark. Share links are free too, within a daily fair-use limit.
Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. A file only leaves your computer when you click “Share link”, and every link comes with a delete button. Links expire after 30 days.
Is redaction really permanent?
Yes. Redact and blur change the pixels of the image you copy, download or share — the hidden text is not kept underneath, so it cannot be recovered from the file.
Can I record system audio and my webcam?
Yes, in Chrome and Edge. Tick “Share system audio” in the browser’s screen picker (tab audio works everywhere; whole-screen audio works on Windows and ChromeOS). The webcam bubble floats above your other windows so it is part of the recording when you share your whole screen.
Which browsers are supported?
The latest Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and Opera support every feature. Firefox and Safari support capture and editing; recording format and audio options depend on the browser.
Is there a Chrome extension?
A one-click Chrome extension with visible-tab and full-page capture is on the way. Until then, this page works in any modern browser.
